Title: Retail Security Officer
Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Hours: Part-time, Saturdays, 12 pm-9 pm, and Sundays 11 am-7 pm.

Work Duties:
Door Monitoring – Monitor the building doors and ensure that no vagrants are bothering the customers as they enter and exit the doors.
Patrol inside the store - You must patrol the store and become highly visible to the customers.
During your patrols you must observe for any signs of smoke, spills, and debris and take prevention actions by notifying the store associates and maintenance.
During your patrols you must observe all walkways and remove small objects or debris that may cause unsafe walking
conditions to ensure customer safety.
If you observe any shoplifters, you must notify the store associates or managers so they may continue monitoring the subject. You are not allowed to confront or get involved with the shoplifters.
You must report your patrols on an electronic patrol system using the store telephones.
You must become familiar with key locations such as fire exits and be prepared to assist in an emergency.
Call the police or fire department - In case of emergencies or if you observe smoke or fire on the property.
Suspicious Activities - Report all suspicious events to onsite staff.
Report a routine check-up by telephone every hour on the store telephone system.
You must be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
You must be willing to wear a company-assigned security uniform.
This job entails prolonged walking and standing.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legal to work in the U.S.
Have a working social security card.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or higher.
Pass a criminal background check.
Pass a drug test.
Have a current Guard Card license.
Have completed the 40 hours of security guard training (AB2880) or be able to obtain the training within 60 days of
hire at your own expense.
Able to clock in/off duty using the company telephone application system TracTick. Training will be provided.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, holidays, and weekends required).
