Local Construction Company specializing in the Plumbing and Electrical Trades is currently seeking a Commercial Service and Repair Plumbing Manager with extensive knowledge in the trade specifically Commercial Service and Repair and Construction. In this role you will manage and direct field technicians (plumbing) on daily activities. Provide ongoing field support via phone and /or on-site as required. Insure all work is performed in a quality workmanlike manner, in accordance to code. Maintain excellent customer relations with existing clients and cultivate new clients and/or extend lines of business.
Various shifts are available
SERVICE TECHNICIANS / BID CREW TECHNICIANS
Management of Profit & Loss of service calls/bids.
Analyze technicians for specific training needs and coordinate with Field Trainer.
Insure all employees are working and driving safely.
On-Call 24/7 Support as required.
Documented field visits to all Service Technicians monthly.
Assist VP Plumbing with annual performance evaluations.
o Truck inventory and controls.
Cost management.
CLIENT RELATIONS - MARKETING
Maintain excellent customer service with existing clients by being proactive and positive.
Meet with clients as required.
Field surveys, job walks and permits as required.
Market, develop and support new clients.
Market and sale current untapped work capabilities to existing clients where it is not currently being used.
OTHER
Prepare and provide activity list to VP plumbing and COO daily
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a clean driving record - approved by our insurance carrier.
Must have a minimum of 15+ years in pluming trade as a commercial plumber and or service technician.
Must have a minimum of 5+ years in plumbing service management.
Four trade school and or college degree preferred.
OSHA-30 certification.
Must have knowledge in General Building and Plumbing Construction.
Must have problem solving skills.
Must be familiar with MS Suite.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
