We are looking for a candidate like you experienced freight brokers to expand our business growth. This individual must have skills and hard work to expand our company. This candidate must possess logistics/transportation and broker skills. They must be self-motivating and work well with others. You will be an important role within our company, in using your knowledge and resources to determine an innovative or conventional solution to a shippers' needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Effectively Manage Carrier Relationships
⢠Must have in depth knowledge of load boards and how to use them effectively
⢠Generate new business leads internally and externally
⢠Negotiation of Rates & Services with clients for FTL, LTL, and Intermodal services
⢠Respond to sales inquiries and provide pricing on transactional-based business
⢠Ensure proper follow up and management of all loads by operations staff
⢠Must have a sales/growth orientated mindset associated with organic growth
⢠Use available industry tools and relationship to identify potential carriers
⢠Communication of service expectations is a must
⢠Consistently follow up to ensure loads move as expected by customers
⢠Foster growth in brokerage business through collaboration with all Departments and willingness to do "Whatever it takes" to ensure customers' needs are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
⢠1-3 years logistics/transportation experience
⢠1-3 years freight broker experience
⢠Establish presence in the market place
⢠Familiarity with DOT Trucking Regulations (Hours of Service, Claims etc)
