A company that was most recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal from 2016-2019.TRI Pointe Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a Director of Customer Solutions.Position Highlights: The Director of Customer Solutions partners with executives, managers, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and implement new software solutions, system enhancements, and end-user computing tools that improve the effective and efficient delivery of solutions optimizing the customer experience, from lead management to beyond homeowner close of escrow. The role is responsible for overseeing the portfolio of all customer facing Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care applications at TRI Pointe Group. The Director also oversees the strategic development, enhancements, hosting and maintenance of Buyer Portal and Company Websites. This leader will identify and deliver solutions that maximize business value from IT capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving experience, and coach others effectively through the problem-solving process.Position Responsibilities:

Identify and collaboratively drive implementation of software solutions that optimize TRI Pointe Group business operational efficiencies throughout the enterprise.

Build strong, trusting network with internal and external business partners to gain organizational buy-in and support delivery and rapid adoption of customer facing application solutions.

Effectively translate subject matter expert requirements with IT team resources to ensure delivery of technical solutions that meet or exceed expected outcome.

Analyze emerging business to consumer technologies and proactively assess the company’s operating requirements to ensure that business applications meet all current and forecasted business needs.

Research, analyze, and document alternatives to formulate compelling recommendations to senior management. Solutions will optimize the trade-offs between the cost of ownership and service, improve the customer experience, while reducing the integration footprint.

Implement customer facing solution capability road maps and scorecards that demonstrate progress and measure accountability around initiatives, projects, system implementation and adoption/proper usage.

Manage a team of cross-functional IT professionals and project teams.

Responsible for recruiting, developing, leading and retaining a high performing team to ensure that TRI Pointe Group has well managed IT capabilities. Coach on leadership development, technology solutions and issue resolution while mentoring staff members to learn and grow through their work individually and with each other.

Act as a technical and professional leader, providing guidance, direction, and training to the project team members as necessary.

Work collaboratively with the Director of Business Systems, Director of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and Integration manager to institutionalize project and product management standards and team resource allocation to achieve project outcomes on time and budget.

Partner with leaders to drive alignment around ownership of business applications and support for new initiatives.

Partner with key stakeholders, including but not limited to sales and marketing, construction, customer care teams and IT teams to translate business goals into customer journey and user experience design deliverables.

Mobilize functional, IT, and external resources for highly effective deployment of new customer facing applications and system enhancements.

Negotiate license and support agreements with external vendors to minimize operating costs.

Partner with the infrastructure team and other IT team members to effectively address all hardware, database, and software aspects of business solutions.

Develop and deploy highly effective end user training programs, including digital adoption platforms, classroom, desk reference materials, and quick reference guides.

Identify long and short-term opportunities to outsource functions that can be managed more effectively and efficiently by third party experts vs. in-house resources.

Partner with the infrastructure team to develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for mission-critical business applications. Regularly test disaster recovery and fail-over routines.

Position Qualifications:

BS/BA required in Computer Science or other related major required. Graduate degree is a plus.

PMP, ITIL or other relevant professional certification is a plus

Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading large scale software implementation projects and technology management, including leading teams of 10 or more people required.

Expert, in-depth knowledge and understanding of Salesforce CRM solutions and potential capabilities required.

Web development and implementation experience required.

Experience in deploying and managing enterprise solutions supporting the Customer Life Cycle.

Exceptional organizational skills and project management experience to include successful management of large-scale customer facing company-wide initiatives and implementations.

Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence and database reporting tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft SSRS reporting solutions.

Construction industry experience, including VR wearable technologies, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies is a strong plus.

Hands on technical software development knowledge.

Demonstrated competence in leading in-house and outsourced technical resources.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills - a skilled business professional who communicates effectively with all levels of end-users and management.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Experience and demonstrated ability with sound business decision making practices.

Proven ability to work major projects and manage multiple priorities through successful completion, with minimum supervision.
