A fortune 500 leading Entertainment company is looking for a Java Software Engineer who is proficient with developing REST APIs to join their growing team. This Java Software Engineer will be a key contributor to building a next-generation direct-to-consumer internal applications for movies. You will be part of a cross-functional team working with various engineers and stakeholders.

The ideal Java Software Engineer will have experience connection back-end services using SOAP/REST, have some architecture experience, and be able to do some testing. You must be proficient with Java 8, REST, Spring Boot, CI/CD and AWS.
Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years Java Software Engineering
• Proficient with Spring Boot
• Experience developing applications for AWS (Elasticsearch, S3)
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Git)
• Database experience with SQL, Oracle, Postgres etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous Entertainment experience
• Containerization with Kubernetes

The Offer

• Competitive Pay: Up to $80/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 18 Months with conversion
