Children's Hospital Administration (Part time, Day shift) 20 hrs/week -Our mission is to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Our core values are compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and wholeness.The Coordinator-Community Outreach is responsible for developing community partnerships in strategic regions that represent vulnerable populations that lack access to health care and community resources. Assist in the community health needs assessment of vulnerable populations and advises on strategic partnerships for successful intervention on behalf of people who are under-resourced and in need of support or health care services, with a special focus on the health care needs of vulnerable children and providing them access to care. Strengthens LLUH’s regional impact on children and families by advising the Institute for Community Partners (ICP), Children’s Hospital (CH), and community partners on the strategies and interventions that will increase access to care, services, and increase health for children and families. Performs other duties as needed.Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum one year experience in related field required.Understanding of the region assigned and excellent planning and diplomatic skills. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.Additional InformationOrganization: LLU Childrens Hospital
