And our work depends on a Subcontracts Administrator Associate (New Grad) joining our team to support Defense Proposal Work remotely.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Subcontracts Administrator Associate New Grad) supporting Defense Proposal Work, you will be trusted to provide subcontracts proposal support and subject matter expertise related to subcontracts, including (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, and Award Readiness.A typical day will include:Assists in the negotiation and administration of assigned NDAs, TAs subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements.
Actively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between subcontract stakeholders.
Serves as a liaison facilitator between the proposal team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to management
Assists in preparation of subcontract solicitations.
Participates in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements.
Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents.
Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems.
Assists management and subcontract personnel in preparing procedural changes.
Assists management and subcontract personnel in the resolution of subcontract-related problems.
Develops current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices.
Participates in special projects as required.
REQUIRRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree
0 -1 year experience within Contracts Administration
No clearance required, but must be able to obtain
Recommended Skills and Abilities:Effective communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently
Problem solving skills
Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and SharePoint.
