Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Creates feature test strategies and environment needs. Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements. Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement. Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements. Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs. Develops and maintain collaborative relationships with business owners, the IT development team, and other analysts. Serves as a liaison between IT and the business by ensuring technical solutions being developed satisfy business needs. Works closely with business partners to gather, define, and document functional, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements. Ensures high level designs, including technical specifications, are accurately documented and mapped to approved requirements. Researches and documents business issues; analyzes and evaluates data, troubleshoots, and provides resolutions for business issues. Handles complex business scenarios; documents and communicates them in a simplified and easy to understand approach to the business, IT development team, and leadership. Utilizes MS SQL to pull data in order to satisfy business and technical requirements. Assists with developing use cases; creates test strategies, test cases, and conducts testing of technical solutions. Provides analysis of efficiencies related to enhancements/automation. Works within all phases of the SDLC. Follows and adheres to Agile methodologies. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with documenting requirements and/or building test cases for a variety of technologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Requirements Experience testing/product quality processes tools and methods strongly preferred. Project management experience and training in facilitation strongly preferred. If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions.
