The Compliance Auditor is a critical part of our Audit team that is responsible for conducting payroll audits to ensure employers are in compliance with various Collective Bargaining Agreements and our Trust Fund Agreement.
What you should have to be successful:
BA or BS degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; and or equivalent experience
2-4 years experience in audit, accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
Requires occasional local travel within the Los Angeles area
Your responsibilities would include:
Inspect employer accounting records and verify compensation records using prescribed due diligence tests
Identify and document reporting errors, research records, employer agreements, and prior audit reports
Record audit findings and prepare a detailed report using our in-house program
