Technical Program Manager Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for leading a large cross functional program focused on improving visibility into Company’s wider cloud cost with AWS. Company has an Program that is focused on Cloud Cost Visibility with several initiatives including:
Tagging and mapping AWS resources to Company services
Deploying and rolling out a cost visibility tool that integrates as much insight as possible
Build bottoms-up budget/ forecast models for AWS Usage
Proven track record for mobilizing cross-functional teams, developing an in-depth knowledge of Company’s AWS footprint, and building processes to support Company’s roadmap and project management needs, ultimately enabling the teams to be more efficient and productive. Lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering efforts with internal customers and usher projects and/ or discovery sessions through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing all aspects of project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders including senior leadership. This will also require you to understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when and which to use. Conceptualize and develop tooling/automation for cloud spend visibility, reporting, governance and cost management Additionally, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an ever-changing environment. Act as a key interface between Company and AWS teams to continuously improve and optimize Company’s AWS footprint Lead technical workshops, brown bags, decision meetings, collaborative sessions, and deliver executive briefings related to a wide range of technical and cloud optimization topics. Create, maintain and communicate project information to stakeholders. Prefer to see candidates with a combination of Enterprise program management and the following:
Program/Project management of systems where CFO or Finance/Accounting teams are the consumers
High level understanding of AWS resources and services – emphasis on tooling that provides visibility into Cloud Resource usage and forecasting
Nice to have: Finance and Accounting level skills with Excel – “on the fly” ability to import data into excel, manipulate, pivot and visualize into useful information
