About the Position
We are looking for friendly, patient, and professional individuals who enjoy teaching and helping others succeed. As a driving instructor, you will guide students through one of the most important life skills they will ever learn: driving safely and confidently.
You will be teaching in a Tesla Model 3 and other modern vehicles equipped for driver education. Each lesson is focused on building confidence, awareness, and responsible driving habits. Safety is always our number one priority, and we take pride in providing a calm and supportive learning environment for every student.

Requirements
Must be 25 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Clean driving record (no major violations or at-fault accidents)
Must pass the California DMV instructor health questionnaire
Professional, calm demeanor, especially with teens and parents
Previous teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience is a plus
Must complete paid training (we pay $24/hr during training)

Compensation
Base pay: $27/hr
Daily bonuses available, effective pay up to $54/hr
All commute time between lessons is paid
Minimum daily pay:
1 student (2-hour session): paid for 4.5 hours minimum
2 students (4 hours of instruction): paid for 8 hours
3 students (6 hours of instruction): paid for 9.5 hours (includes 1.5x overtime rate)
W-2 position, paid every 2 weeks via direct deposit | Part-time to start, instructors make their own schedules
This structure ensures instructors are compensated for both instruction and travel time while maintaining a consistent income.
