Contract to Hire Opportunity We have an immediate opening for a Dispatch Field Technician to provide break-fix field service work in the Los Angeles area on desktops, laptops, printers, and/or POS systems. Candidates must live in LA zip code 90017.

This Tech must be willing to work any shift, 10 am to 7 pm (1-hour lunch) on any days of the week from Monday-Friday to Thursday-Monday. Overtime expected as well as a rotating on-call shift.

• This is a driving position which requires a DMV background check to be completed
• Use of reliable, personal vehicle required - miles reimbursed according to CompuCom policy

Overview:

• Technician will travel to each client s location to provide service
• Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and POS
• Works under general supervision

Required Qualifications:

• Entry-level to 3 years of field experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and Point of Sale systems
• Installation skills a plus: installing equipment on various surfaces such as tile, steel, brick, and other materials
• Experience reimaging and updating OS required
• Printer break-fix experience required - more than consumables and setup
• Must be able to follow written instructions
• Strong customer service skills required
• Interpersonal skills needed to interact with a wide range of users and environments
• CompTIA A+ certification required
• Other tech certifications a plus

Basic Needs / Haves:

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license required (driving position - reimbursed accordingly)
• Ability to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends
• Required to load company apps on a personal smartphone
• Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
• Ability to work on a ladder or lift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
