A sustainable living eCommerce start up is looking for a Java Engineer to add to their growing team. Their goal is to make it easy for everyone to grow food themselves with a mission to "change the food system and empower everyone to grow 20% of their own food at home". All their products provide sustainable living with new technology.
As a Software Engineer you will be working on their main customer facing e-commerce site. You will mainly work on the order fulfillment and operations platform. An additional platform you may work on is the recommendation system that gives customers suggestion on what types of plants they should grow based on their weather climate and order history. You will be using Java 8 and Java 11, GCP, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest Microservices and MySQL.
