A fortune-500 automotive company located in Culver City is looking to onboard a Senior DevOps Engineer to their infrastructure group. The client is looking to enhance their continuous delivery platform for a new e-store that is set to launch by next year. They can pay up to $165,000/yr for the ideal candidate.

Our client is building a automotive e-store in an ongoing project that is set to be deployed in January of next year. Our client is publicly funded and has sufficient resources to support and enable a large-scale application deployment. It is a highly technical role that requires a balance of operations and development experience. The DevOps engineer will join a team of 6 that is primarily tasked with automating and configuring their AWS based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in an AWS ecosystem (ELB, ECS, SES, EC2, Cloudfront). The successful candidate will also have experience developing web-based applications.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an AWS Ecosystem (ELB, ECS, SES, EC2, Cloudfront, S3, Autoscaling, Redis)
• Proficient with Ansible, Prometheus, and Terraform
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, C# (or similar)
• Proficient in the architecture and deployment of containers with Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong understanding of DNS, CDN, Networking, and Firewalls
• Understands Software Security best practices

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Prior e-commerce experience
• Prior experience working within hard project deadlines
• Prior experience working with self-hosted CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins
