Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Technician who is able to convey complicated technical information to non-technical users in a simple and concise format. If you are an articulate problem solver who loves to work in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician role for you. Located in the Los Angeles, California, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary in nature.
Your responsibilities
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Requirements
- Desktop support or related experience
- Earlier work involving Microsoft Office 365
- Imaging experience
- General familiarity with Apple iPhone
- Refresh experience
- Background working with Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Windows experience highly valued
- Practical knowledge of Apple OS
- Demonstrated knowledge of Apple iOS
- Previous experience working with Microsoft SCCM
- Computer Imaging experience desired
- Adeptness in Apple Devices
- Command of Desktop Imaging
- Experience with JAMF Casper Suite
- Apple Macintosh experience highly preferred
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Word
- Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
