Description Bookkeepers are encouraged to apply for this new permanent role with a client via Robert Half. The ideal candidate will be talented and ambitious. You will own data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P in this Bookkeeper position. As well, you will handle accounts payable, month-end closing, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. This Bookkeeper opportunity will be located in the Los Angeles, California area and will be a permanent position.Your responsibilities in this roleSupplementary assignments when necessary
Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Sustain a general ledger
Produce cash flow projections, as needed
Administrate Accounts Receivable
Operate monthly accounting close
Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Update Accounts Payable
Capable in credit card management and reconciliation
Sustain monthly accounting close Requirements - Great attention to detail
Well-founded grasp of financial statement preparation
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Proven knowledge of Paychex
Solid understanding of bookkeeping
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
General familiarity with trial balance
Bank reconciliations experience
Monthly Bank Reconciliation experience highly desired
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
