Programming Analyst position - Infor Mapics XA Super User.
They will be anticipating adding another full-time RPG Programmer with Mapics XA Salary of $110,000 -$120,000 in the next month. This could go Contract to Hire with great benefits. Must be able to Program in RPG ILE as well as use Powerlink.

MAPICS XA RPG MAPICS XA Programmer Analyst.
This client is willing to bring on someone who can work hybrid remote as well as be on-site for their XA support issues.

    Powerlink?
  • Are you able to support daytime 40 hours a week - Pacific Time Zone?
  • One of the responsibilities is to run a backup every evening from 7:00PM – 7:45PM Pacific Monday thru Friday evenings. Are you okay with that?
The main responsibilities would be troubleshooting, user support calls, backups and programming would be last. The shop has the manager and one programmer.

IBM i, MAPICS XA and RPG.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of current experience with MAPICS XA and IBM i- iSeries AS/400 RPG ILE Programming
  • Fluent with AS/400 commands, in-depth knowledge of MAPICS files and functionality
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and design optimal process solutions
  • Must have manufacturing industry experience.
  • Must have good oral, written communications and have a high level of moral and ethical codes.
  • Must be Reliable - occasionaly assist with nightly backups, timely response to user help
