Job Description

Position Summary
Abode Communities seeks a Marketing Manager to join our energetic and dedicated marketing team in our Los Angeles office. We seek a driven individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow their professional marketing career in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Under the leadership of the Associate Vice President of Communications, the Marketing Manager manages and implements a wide range of marketing initiatives for Abode Communities’ core disciplines. The Marketing Manager will play an integral role to advance business development activities for the organization’s development and architecture business lines, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP/Request for Quotations(RFQ)/Statements of Qualifications(SFQ).

Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Marketing
Manage and coordinate marketing functions for Abode Communities’ real estate development division and architecture design studio’s business development activities including and not limited to:

  • Coordinating and preparing responses for Requests for Proposals/Qualifications submissions;
  • Creating and updating collateral such as profiles, cut sheets, and presentations; Managing award opportunities and creating awards submissions; and
  • Coordinating trade show activities.

Communications and Brand Management

  • Develop and implement corporate collateral including communications campaigns featuring targeted and timely newsletters and bi-monthly eBlasts;
  • Provide production support for grand openings, groundbreakings, project-related tours, and staff participation in conferences/workshops;
  • Update website content and maintain social media presence;
  • Manage the organization’s photography inventory and coordinate shoots;
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s contact management system and property database; Steward the Abode Communities’ brand.

Equivalent Education, Experiences, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • 4+ years of related experience in the fields of real estate, architecture, engineering, or construction
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or related field (equivalent experience may be substituted for this requirement)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in contact management systems and email marketing
  • A valid driver’s license and availability of an insured vehicle for limited travel within Abode Communities’ service area

Compensation and Benefits

The target salary range for this role is

$60,000 - $80,000; offers are commensurate with the education and experience of the finalist. Additionally, a full benefits package is offered which includes: health, dental and vision insurance, long term disability insurance, 401K plan, subsidized parking, paid vacation and sick leave benefits. Abode Communities' corporate staff work on a 9/80 schedule allowing for every other Friday off.
