Deloitte s Health Plans practitioners canhelp you use analytics to gain insight, capture value in Commercial, Medicare,and Medicaid markets, understand retail health, and transition to value-basedcare.Workyou ll doSenior Consultants perform detailedquantitative and qualitative analysis work associated with developingmeaningful insights to address health cares biggest challenges.Responsibilities typical of a Senior Consultant on one of these projects couldinclude:

Participate in setting engagementobjectives and scope

Develop work plans for components of anengagement

Coordinate activities between workstreams

Facilitate client interviews and clientmeetings

Develop process flows depicting painpoints in the business process

Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions,and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations

Provide project management supportacross the end-to-end lifecycle of an engagement

Design deliverable content to reflect analysesconducted and recommendations

Present findings and recommendations toclient leadership

Anticipate risks associated with timely and high-qualitydelivery of project and escalate the same to project management and leadership

Mentor junior staff

We advise, design,implement, and deploy innovative and technology enabled solutions focused onheart of the business issues in specific sectors including Health Care,Banking & Securities, Insurance, and Energy & Resources. Our MarketOfferings include Operating Model Transformation and Center for ProcessBionics.Our clients seek a fresh perspective onhow to create a flexible, innovative business model supported by a strongoperations foundation. Professionals will use their deep sector knowledge andtechnical business operations consulting experience to take a more strategicview of our clients priorities, helping them to prepare for growth, embracethe digital agenda and maximize operational efficiency.Qualifications

Bachelor s degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record

4 years of professional experience in a health care or consulting setting (or 2 years with MBA/MHA/equivalent master s degree), including 2 years with health plan focus

4 years of experience with businessand clinical operations experience and subject matter expertise on Value BasedCare, Population Health Management, Care Management, or Analytics; Clinical andHP Operations and/or Pharmacy/PBM.

Demonstrates consistent career progression with increasinglevels of responsibility

Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte s consulting offices

Preferred

Professional experience with operational process mapping

Professional experience with healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation

Professional experience with project management and program analysis

Excellent undergraduate academic record (GPA 3.5 )

Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA)

Professional competence in Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and Access

Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and communication skills

Ability to build consensus and foster change in a client business setting with executive level stakeholders

Commitment to personal and professional growth

Sense of responsibility to self, team and client

Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
