impact, your way. It’s your career to build.The opportunityAs an EY-Parthenon consultant, you’ll
participate as a valued member of project teams helping clients address their
most pressing strategic challenges. Together with your team, you will work on
projects for C-suite clients involving corporate and business unit strategy,
execution of high-profile transactions, and/or restructuring and turnarounds.You’ll be responsible for identifying
information sources, assembling data, performing analyses, structuring hypotheses
and developing presentations. EY-Parthenon consultants assume immediate
management responsibility, and often serve as primary contacts for our clients.
Consultants work on a variety of client issues, such as developing growth
strategies for organizations, performing due diligence on acquisition candidates,
assessing attractiveness of potential targets, understanding new markets,
turning around underperforming institutions, reducing operating costs and
implementing change. You’ll also interact with our clients, making this the
perfect place to gain firsthand insights into how some of the most well-known
brands in the world operate.Your key responsibilitiesWithin the EY-Parthenon team, key consultant
responsibilities may include:
Performingsecondary research using a variety of sources (e.g., analyst reports, marketresearch reports, news articles)
Executingvarious analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitoranalysis, macroeconomic forecasting) to support the strategic recommendations
Masteringnew skills and competencies across industries and functions while directlysupporting our client engagement teams
Keepingabreast of current industry news and trends, while constantly identifyingpotential risks and opportunities for improvement
Supportingengagement financial analysis activities, including budget management andtracking
Reviewingbusiness plans and pro forma financial models to identify key assumptions anddrivers
Developingand delivering project plans while implementing effective approaches fortransaction strategy and execution
Toqualify for the role, you must have
A predicted MBA degree from a leading business school
A record of achievement with previous employer(s)
Outstanding academic performance, including coursework relevant tothe position, preferably quantitative courses in finance, mathematics,business, economics, biologic sciences or engineering
The ability to conduct detailed analysis (using both client dataand external information) on products, markets, competitors and customers toidentify risks and opportunities
A strongaptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
Theability to assess complex situations and business problems to formulatepotential solutions for our clients
Theability and the confidence to establish meaningful relationships with clientsand colleagues
Unwavering integrity, work ethic and flexibility to quickly adaptto new environments/clients
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MSPowerPoint and MS Word
Willingness to travel and flexibility to work in excess ofstandard hours when necessary
Proficientin the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, readand communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in aprofessional environment
Willing and able to learn and work independently withminimal supervision
Effective organization and time management skills,with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
