One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a Scrum Master/Project Manager with the following skills and experience:
Responsibilities of the Role: The Digital Project Manager acts as an account manager for internal customers, including acting as the day-to-day contact and leading business analysis and project management for customer- and Enterprise Tech-initiated projects. This role will establish lasting relationships with internal teams and help them define project initiatives and long-term digital media strategy. This individual will lead the project interface between various Enterprise Tech teams, the internal business unit, and third-party vendors. This position requires strong account management skills and the ability to connect with and lead a wide variety of project constituents. It also requires strong business analysis skills and the ability to learn new businesses quickly. A deep understanding of digital media development/operations is essential. This role will plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to transition through many different tasks and topics in a given day. This role requires a highly responsive and supportive attitude toward customers, team colleagues, and other internal contacts. This person must be willing to dig into any unknown and research, network, or do anything else necessary to answer questions or figure out how to get something done. An excellent cultural fit with the Digital Media Agency team is critical. Due to the importance of company internal knowledge and networking, internal candidates are more likely to be matches.
8+ years of project/program management and financial/business analysis experience 8+ years experience managing larger, more complex and cross-functional department and project budgets Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills Proven success in leading projects from concept through launch and transitioning to operational phase Demonstrated ability to manage project, departmental and enterprise risks related to projects Strong facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run productive meetings Experience with timeline management including use of tools e.g. Microsoft Project or Smartsheet Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, Web technologies, Web development and design processes Experienced in producing thorough, detailed project documentation Experience with vetting, selecting, onboarding and managing third-party vendors Self starter with high level of initiative; strong sense of ownership and urgency Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical people and internal and external audiences Must be able to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment Extraordinarily detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Experience in a complex, large-company environment Comfortable learning and using a variety of processes and technical tools to get things done
