Description Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in the Non-Profit industry for a long-term opportunity. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Ad-hoc projects as required
Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting is required
Current and relevant ERP system experience
General familiarity with Financial Statements
Background working with bank reconciliations
Prior experience working in Nonprofit Organizations
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
