direct patient care for diverse patient population within the assigned Internal Medicine practice,
working faculty physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, nursing
staff, patient services staff and ancillary personnel. The Licensed
Vocational Nurse must be able to work with a primary nursing model as delivery
care systems and follow established university, hospital, and departmental work
policies, procedures, and guidelines.
supplies to perform physical examinations and/or procedures
administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed
laboratory values and report to the physician
and/or life threatening medical problems
maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and
all health providers
and input data in computerized logging systems
and maintain good attendance
work in a timely manner
