The Training and Events Director has the responsibility to effectively execute education and events for Maison Francis Kurkdjian within West Coast region which includes but not limited to list states (focus on West Coast Region).  This position supports sales through events (both virtual and in store) and education/training, which includes new hire training for both BA’s and field team members as well continuous education to ensure the MFK brand standards are being followed and education tools utilized. The Training and events manager will support account events as needed as well as new store opening trainings. This position requires regular travel and high touch visibility in store.The Training and Events Manager must exemplify our four cultural, company philosophies; people first, passion for product, promotional execution, all while delivering profitability. RESPONSIBILITIES TrainingIn partnership with Paris Maison HQ, develop programming supporting luxurious brand experience, engagement and artistic expression.Closely work with East Coast Training and Events Director and local Field Sales Management to determine training needs and develop appropriate action plans to ensure total territory achieves and exceeds retail sales goals.Conduct seasonal training seminars for Beauty Ambassadors, Counter Managers, Business Managers and US Field Sales Team.Conduct additional orientation training for newly hired Beauty Ambassadors/Business Managers in top doors and other doors as agreed by Director of Education.Develop strong relationships within the Maison as well with all levels of store management teams and BA’sEnsure the proper usage with the BAs of the Kurky method/CRM, including Daily Business Report, follow up and support the training app, MFK Backstage.When needed, focus on key doors within each account. Partner with BAs and AEs to assist in development of these employees to bring them to next level.Cultivate partnerships with retailers to support openings of new stores.EventsAssist in the ideation and development of virtual and in store event concepts for new and existing clients.Co-create, plan and execute innovative in-store events to drive retail sales and achieve goals.  Maintaining the brand image by providing the highest level of customer service.Position requires in store time selling and training exemplifying the MFK brand standards and expectations.Communicate effective selling tips and strategies with fragrances. Stay up to date with competition and forward findings to leadership.Develop positive relationships with in store staff and retailer leadership, as well as supporting retailer events.Correspond on a regular and timely basis with the field team, ensuring that local business needs are met while in store. Education/Event StrategyCollaboratively work to shape event frame work and help to revolutionize brand expansion and promotions.Working together with the Paris office to ensure pop-ups and other event/promotions uphold the correct brand experience.Develop seasonal strategies (for specific retailers when needed) to ensure larger events are anniversary, as well as planning for priority and growth stores.Partnership with Joan Tanis to create/develop/grow education and training.  Working to elevate tools, programs, presentations, etc.

Ensure strong utilization of Operating Unit programs and resources are utilized to drive revenue growth Drive collaboration within CRDN Operating Unit and cross-functionally with partners, District Managers, customers, and company personnel to improve customer service and product quality. Operate as key point of contact for US customer base for assigned geography. Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends, determine regional sales system improvements, implement changes. Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions. Establish and effectively manage expense budget, sales objectives and sales goals for District Managers in support of organizational objectives. Guide and coach management team on building/executing strategies around maintaining and expanding customer base; drive share growth; identify new customer opportunities. Act as liaison to targeted KOLs and strategic accounts.Communicate opportunities for the Company’s current products, assist in the evaluation of potential partnerships, identify new products for expansion of current product lines, and studies new markets for entry via product distribution, partnerships, or in-house product development. Surveys consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors. Participate in development of field compensation plans and award programs to assure proper coverage, customer contact, sales promotion, after-sale contact, and market information flow. Review programs with sales management and ensure effective communication of company information. Ensure that the company’s ethical position is maintained and effectively communicates and manages the company business conduct policies. Recommends policy changes for the field and ensures adherence to Medtronic corporate operating policies, including the Advamed and Business Conduct Standards. Act as corporate representative at trade shows, medical meetings, and in customer contacts. Access needs for national account programs such as national distributors and buying groups.
