European Inspired Gourmet Boutique Market/Bakery has immediate opening for a Market Cashiers/Deli Clerks for early opening as well as the closing shifts.
Hiring for Full-Time/Part-Time
Hours: 6 to 8-hour shifts between the hours of from 8 AM – 9 PM
Schedule could range from 20- 40 hours a week.
NOTE: must be able and available to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include; taking sandwich and deli item orders, Selling Bakery Goods and retail items, running the cash register and counting back change, stocking and restocking shelves and cold cases. Prior experience with preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the deli products a plus. Deli products include deli meats, cheeses. Engaging with our diverse guests in a personable and enthusiastic manner while maintaining a clean work environment is a must.
Minimum Qualifications:
A self-starter with excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude with desire to care for customers and their customer experience
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Associate must be reliable and possess integrity and professionalism in their position
Ability to learn and retain product knowledge and item pricing
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and keep work area clean and organized
Ensure appropriate health and safety standards, ServSafe practices
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of products at stations to ensure smooth service
Maintain proper cash handling and ensure proper procedures are followed
Open and/or close the location properly and follow the closing checklist
Reduce product waste and overages
