Very popular, independently owned restaurant and bar is seeking a General Manager. Looking for a well-rounded individual who comes from a high volume restaurant background and is excited about operating a dynamic, multi-faceted business. Ownership is very big on collaboration and is looking for someone who can contribute ideas, make decisions, and be creative! Requirements for the General Manager position:
Minimum 5 years of GM level management experience
High volume (1,000 covers/day), full-service restaurant background
Proven ability to read & manage P&L to identify areas of improvement
Natural leader who can guide and develop managers and team members in a positive, respectful, and influential style
General marketing knowledge
Community involvement to increase brand awareness
Enjoys building culture in the restaurant
Strong focus on an elevated guest experience
Willingness to jump in and assist as necessary
Knowledge of California labor laws + health department rules & regulations
Prior exposure to private on-site and off-site events would be a plusCompensation & benefits package:
Annual salary in the $110k range
