sbe is seeking Line Cooks to join the culinary team in our upcoming Long Beach virtual kitchen! This virtual kitchen is responsible for producing several brand new, delivery-only concepts within it. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen, possesses a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Duties & Functions:
-Maintain constant quality control of all food prepared and ensure it is to the Kitchen Manager standards
-Maintain constant quality control of all food prepared and cooked ensuring it is to the Executive Chef’s and -Restaurant standards
-Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to the scheduled event
-Ensure efficient and accurate use of produce and equipment in and around the kitchen
-Understand the operational set up and principle of the Restaurant
-Support any position in the Kitchen that is in need of help
-Maintain the highest standards and requirements of hygiene and safety regulations

Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:
-Culinary degree preferred, High School or equivalent required
-One to two years in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
-Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
-Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
-Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
-Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
