We are looking for a General Manager with experience in a fast paced, retail bakery catering or restaurant that bakes fresh from scratch.
Candidates must have strong management skills, hospitality and service skills and experience successfully running all aspects of a bakery, restaurant and catering business. Must be a self-starter, capable to problem solve and multi-task.
Requirements and Experience Desired:
- Prior bakery / restaurant experience in a leadership role with successful history of offering exceptional guest experiences, team building and sales building.
- We bake fresh on premise all day so ability to manage production is important.
- Experience in financial statements, sales and activity reports and business analysis to identify areas needing cost controls/efficiencies and improvements.
- Experience building retail bakery and special events and catering sales.
- Inspire outstanding hospitality and customer service at all times.
- Available to work a full-time, variety of hours to include evenings, nights and weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficient in typical desktop software program, including: Toast POS, ADP, Harri and Monkey Media.
- Serv-Safe Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Available a variety of hours to include evenings, nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work up to a 10 hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions.
- Will be required to lift up to forty pounds during the course of a workday.
- Will require bending, stooping and occasional use of a ladder.
