Job Description
H Care Billing is looking for an experienced Medical Coder/Billing Specialist to join our team. Candidate must be a self-starter, multi-tasked, team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of CPT/ICD10 codes a must. Candidate must be proficient billing office visits, surgeries and knowledge of specialties such as Vascular & Cardiology is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicant is responsible for submitting claims to Medicare / Medical, PPO, HMO, and other government insurances. They will also perform accounts receivable (AR) follow up identifying and resolving coding and billing errors, denials, and non-payments.
Requirements:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in Medical Billing and Coding Compliance (CPT)
Background in using EMR software and applications
Ability to navigate CPT, ICD-10, HCPC books
Strong verbal, written, and oral communications skills
Medical Billing/Coding Diploma or Certificate Required
Experience in Vascular and Cardiology billing / coding a plus.
