We are seeking a full time Startup/Commissioning technician/manager for our Southern California operations (main office located in Fountain Valley but jobs throughout Orange and LA counties). Position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, vendors, and clients. The goal for this position is to have candidate work with current Commissioning Manager to ultimately become our startup/commissioning "guru".
Ideal candidate:
- Must know VFR system startups and should have baseline knowledge of control systems. Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of industry experience.
- Work with Engineering and Construction teams to make provisions for commissioning and project completion in the design and construction schedules.
- Lead and/or understand facility system/subsystem definitions and commissioning strategies
- Determine and communicate system dependencies and prerequisites
- Lead teams of technicians, vendors, and engineers to start up critical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate commissioning and construction activities to ensure simultaneous activities are conducted safely and cause minimal disruption to operations.
