Maintenance Tech –
Maintenance Contractor specializing in Apartment Building Maintenance looking to hire a friendly,
energetic, and motivated full-time Maintenance Tech with Residential repair and construction
experience.
General duties include:
- Work Orders / Maintenance Request: Most apartment and common area repairs including but
not limited to:
o Minor Plumbing & Water damage repairs
o Minor electrical
o HVAC Troubleshooting
o Drywall & Painting
o Cabinet and Flooring Repair
o Cosmetic Repairs
o Door & Window Repair
o Countertop & Cabinet Install (Preferred)
o Tiling (Preferred)
- Vacant Apartment Turnovers
- Use computer software to complete Work Orders, and communicate with Management
- Other projects as assigned by Management
Required Experience:
- Must have an advanced understanding of construction components (Interior & Exterior)
- Must have 5+ years experience in construction / residential maintenance & repair
- Must have reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
- Must have tools
- Strong background in customer service with English oral/written communication skills
- Computer literacy with ability to use iPhone/iPad and Email
- Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple job functions, learn new
procedures & software quickly, with great reporting accuracy and consistency in follow up
