A fast-growing labor and employment law firm in Century City is seeking an attorney with 2 - 10 years of litigation experience in CA labor and employment law. Experience in individual and PAGA wage and hour litigation preferred. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hard-working and personable.
Job responsibilities include:
Reviewing personnel files and wage statements and assessing potential claims;
Preparing demand letters, complaints and demands for arbitration;
Preparing and responding to meet and confer letters;
Drafting oppositions to dispositive motions and motions to compel arbitration;
Defending and taking depositions;
Attending ISC, CMC and other court hearings;
Drafting mediation briefs.
