Boutique Plaintiffs Personal Injury Law Firm seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Personal Injury intake interviews (using forms to acquire information from potential clients)
- Drafting/Sending letters to clients, clients employers, insurance companies, etc. and follow up
- Sending requests for records to governmental entities (e.g. police department, Cal-OSHA, DMV, etc.) and follow up
- Ordering investigative services (i.e. skip traces, asset searches, insurance searches)
- Obtaining medical/billing records and employment records
- Calling medical providers and employers, sending request letters, making follow up phone calls, etc.
- Following up with clients and others, regarding clients' status of medical treatment
- Maintaining lists pertaining to Medical Providers and status of Medical and Billing Records Collection
- Creating and maintaining spread sheets relating to medical billing and payment records
- Bates stamping records (using Adobe)
- Contacting lien holders (doctors, medical insurance carriers, MediCal, Medicare, workers compensation insurance carriers, etc.)
- Using Case Management Software to create and track task deadlines
- Opening/Closing Case files
- Helping with document assembly
- Conference Room maintenance for meetings/depositions (coffee, clean up, etc.)
- Answering phones
- Helping empty office waste baskets
- Assisting in projects as need or as delegated
- Other tasks as needed

Prior experience and Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
