FIELD REPRESENTATIVE – TEMPORARY POSITION

Basil Street is the developer of the Automated Pizza Kitchen (APK), an autonomous robotic kiosk that cooks a delicious wood-fired oven style 10-inch pizza in about 3 minutes. The revolution of truly gourmet pizza in a quick and convenient way throughout the country is upon us.

Basil Street is ready to launch one of its first of many APKs. We are looking for one (1) special person to be assigned to a specific APK at a specific onsite location for a 60-90 day period.
JOB OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be the onsite eyes, ears, voice and hands representing Basil Street. You will engage with the consumers, non-consumers and the APK to capture as much information as possible so that the team can continue to address needed areas of improvement. The collection of data will include consumer engagements and surveys, as well as providing your onsite perspective of what you have learned and observed while interacting with the consumers and the APK. You will be a key asset to improving our solution through your insights and support.
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICS
Must have an outgoing and friendly personality so to engage with the public
Must have patience with high volume traffic and APK usage (lunch breaks, etc.)
Must have great communication skills and speak English clearly and effectively
Must be able to articulate and educate consumers and potential consumers on the food offerings and the APK difference: flavor, ease of use, oven technology
Must be able to take initiative to engage with non-customers to raise awareness about the APK and its offerings
Must have some basic knowledge on mechanics to communicate and work with remote engineers on APK technical issues
Must have savvy experience using a tablet/cell phone for onsite customer surveys (QR Code on display directs to survey), data entry and reports
Must be open to learning new initiatives
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliability: Must be able to commit to the full short-term project, be on time and stay strict to the specified schedule
