Local payroll service seeking an Customer Service Assistant. The ideal candidate would have some payroll experience, be exceptionally detail oriented and have a verifiable track record of dependability.
Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Keeping track of inventory.
- Inputting data in various payroll software platforms.
- Complete miscellaneous office duties in a timely, efficient and thorough manner.
- Compile information for special reporting; Department of Labor, customers, requests, as needed.
- Miscellaneous processing of missed or late timecards, reissued checks, bonus and holiday pay.
Receive paychecks, sort by customer and stuff into envelopes for hand deliver to customer or directly mail to employee.
Qualifications
- Some payroll experience.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
