Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional for the position of Dental Biller at Angelsmile Dental Group. This role is essential in managing patient records, billing, and coding processes, contributing significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our dental practice.
Responsibilities
Manage patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Perform medical billing and coding for insurance claims using ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in medical coding.
Assist in the management of medical collections as necessary.
Coordinate with dental staff to streamline office operations and enhance patient experience.
Maintain organized systems for tracking patient information and billing processes.
Provide support in the training of new staff on medical office procedures and terminology.
Stay updated on changes in medical billing practices and coding standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of medical records management and terminology.
Familiarity with CDT coding systems is essential.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with medical collection processes is a plus but not required.
Proficient in using medical office systems and software applications.
