We are in search of a Household/Personal Assistant to help maintain the organization of our clients home and their personal needs. The ideal candidate is a team player, has great energy and a knack for making a house feel like a loved home.
A little bit about what were looking for in this role:
Highly Organized & Attentive to details
- Youre able to manage frequently changing schedules for the household staff and family calendar.
- Youll assist with managing the household budgets and inventory supplies.
- Support the family and household team with extensive & detailed packing and travel preparations.
Friendly yet Professional
- Will Answer the residence phone; receive guests at the door and supervise the reception of visitors.
- May schedule and oversee vendors of contracted services.
- Will occasionally provide meal service to the principles and their guests
Private and discreet
- May assist with household and family security systems
- Maintain confidentiality with any of the familys information
Team Player and easily adaptable
- You enjoy planning and organizing calendars and events
- You welcome the opportunity to pitch in wherever needed, like the rest of the team; no task is too big or too small.
- You love the idea of learning a new and better way to do something
- Youre able to travel with the family and their team (50-60% of the time)
Love what you do and bring value to a team!
- You enjoy working with other staff members and in a personal home.
- You have a natural affinity of taking care of those around you.
- You have knowledge or experience in a private home, hospitality, private yachts, butler, concierge, or something similar.
- You bring a gift to the team. Whether you are a tech-guru, expert gift-wrapper, master of floral arrangements, administrative genius, etc.; you will bring value to our team with your gift.
A few more details. . .
- YOU MUST be in the Florida area or willing to relocate to West Palm Beach (within commuting distance)
- This is not a 9-5 position, you must be flexible and comfortable with being on-call (which rotates with the rest of the team).
- Benefits package including health, dental, 401k, etc.
- Must either be living in or Willing to relocate to the West Palm Beach area.
NOTE: Previous experience in the domestic realm and/or as a Butler, House Manager, Steward/ess, Personal Assistant, etc. is beneficial but not a requirement. However, if you dont have any related experience, please send a cover letter explaining why you feel you would be a fit for this role.
