DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
DAY SHIFT (6:30AM - 3:00PM) / TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
SWING SHIFT (3:00PM - 11:30PM) / TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
$15 PER HOUR STARTING PAY
POSITION SUMMARY
Life Alert Emergency Response is currently seeking Data Entry Operators for our Encino, California Central Station. Please see below for a description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Receives general account, personal and medical information through the mail, telephone, computer, or fax for entry into the data processing system.
Performs quality control check on data entry and removes erroneous information in accordance with procedures
Takes inbound calls from and makes outbound calls to subscribers concerning incorrect or missing data
Responsible for completing new installation process by making outbound calls and verifying account information
Responsible for checking address changes and verifying information in mapping program
Responsible for researching and entering authorities having jurisdiction on newly installed accounts
Responsible for making outbound calls to subscribers and their contacts to confirm cancelled account status
Generates and reviews reports related to data entry responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of information obtained in course of employment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
Good verbal and written communication skills
Prior customer service experience a plus
High School diploma or equivalent
Punctuality, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel, etcetera
Subject to pre-employment drug screening
Subject to background check and fingerprinting
