We are a 22 Person Cloud and Managed Services IT firm located in San Dimas; doing everything from hosting clients full infrastructures, providing technical support (both remote and onsite), and cloud support services.

What we are looking for is a junior sysadmin and server support engineer, so think of it as a mid-level L2 support/junior administration role dealing with the server side focused tickets bubbling up from the L1 help desk.

Salary is $55k-$70k Depending on level of experience

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose, resolve and follow through on computer malfunction, and meet the needs of the end user with no technical guidance

• Troubleshoot and repair/maintain basic to moderate server issues, both hardware and software for servers physical and virtual

• Service desk activities to include answering client calls or reviewing, resolving and closing tickets in the Service Desk queue

• Troubleshooting systems and equipment problems or malfunctions

• Identify causes and recommend solutions

• Consult with End User and Managers to determine system requirements

• Must act as a subject expert for staff and end-users during troubleshooting, be their go to "IT Guy" Attitude that meets the Fluid culture

• Ability to work independently with little supervision, shows great accountability

• Volunteers and contributes to the team

• Take ownership even if it wasn't your problem

• Be an advocate and voice for those clients that need you

• Confidence without arrogance

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge and experience in Desktop Systems o Windows 7, 8.1, 10 troubleshooting, management, and setup

o Malware related troubleshooting and resolution

o Network Printers and/or Scanner troubleshooting and setup

• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Solutions - Office365

• Experience with VMware ESXi / VCenter 5.5 and newer

• Knowledge and experience working with Windows Server 2008 R2 and newer

o Active Directory

o Group Policy

• Experience with Exchange 2010 and/or newer

• Knowledge and experience with firewalls/routers/switches /AP's

o Understand DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching
