TRAVEL TECH Mohs Services, Inc. is an on-site mobile laboratory service specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery. Our technicians work with different dermatologists throughout the United States processing frozen sections from skin cancer specimens during surgery.

We are looking for fully available, dependable, flexible, hard working people who would like a career with a fast growing company. Professional rapport and a good driving record are required together with punctuality and the ability to work independently as well as on a team. No previous experience is needed, but may affect rate of salary. We do require an AS degree in the sciences or equivalent science coursework for this position. Occasional out of region and out of state travel may be required (pending assessment of work) based on scheduling needs in the future. We require Hep B vaccination and valid titer, TB testing, consent for background checks, finger printing, and drug testing.Training takes 4-6 weeks.

Training will take place in various dermatology offices as well as in our office. We have paid training and any out of state training will include air travel costs and lodging. Training rate is minimum wage. After training is complete, the rate of pay increases to $15.00 per hour. All travel time will be paid at the applicable minimum wage. Salaried positions may be available after a probationary period as well offering greater benefits including 50% paid family medical, dental, 401(k) with co. matching and paid time off. After submitted applications are reviewed, selected candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview.Candidates without an AS or BS in the sciences will be considered for an interview following the submission of transcripts if they meet either of the following requirements (A or B)::A: Completed 60 hours of semester units from an accredited institution that includes either -1: 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or (like a nursing degree of some kind)-or2: 24 semester hours of science courses made up of six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology, and twelve semester hours of chemistry, biology, and med lab technology coursesB: Completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the ABHES, the CAHEA, or other organization approved by HHS.ie a histotechnician or histotechnologist program.
