About the Role
Private residence seeks a discreet, professional security specialist who can also serve as an occasional personal driver. Full-time support for an ultra high net worth individual and household. Calm under pressure, proactive, and low profile.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a quiet protective presence at the residence and during local movements
- Perimeter checks, access control, guest and vendor screening
- Advance planning for movements and appointments, route selection and timing
- Occasional driving of principal in a safe, smooth, and professional manner
- Daily activity and incident logs with fast reporting of irregularities
- Coordinate with household staff and vendors while protecting privacy
- Safeguard confidentiality at all times and honor NDAs
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years in private residential security for HNW or UHNW clients, or executive protection
- California BSIS guard card in good standing, or eligible to work as a proprietary private security officer in CA; current CPR/First Aid
- Valid CA driver’s license with clean MVR and strong defensive driving skills
- Excellent judgment, situational awareness, and written communication
- Professional appearance and low-visibility demeanor
- Able to pass background check
Preferred
- Prior law enforcement
- Executive protection training and evasive or defensive driving coursework
- Firearm permit and training if applicable to your background and our needs
- Familiarity with Malibu and Westside routes, local risks, and venues
Schedule
Full-time with some evenings, weekends, and on-call needs. Reliability matters.
Compensation
Competitive and flexible, depending on experience.
