Position Overview:
Vegetable oils packaging company seeking Maintenance of Liquid packaging machinery Technician who will interact with production team members to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety. Duties include proactively troubleshooting of different types like filling machine, labeler, case boxer, printer machines, diagnosing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and plant support equipment
Responsibilities:
Production packaging Line set up , repairs and maintenance as necessary to maintain production at target efficiencies.
Troubleshoot and repair production and plant equipment.
Work with Production Technicians on continuous improvement initiatives to solve problems on all equipment;
Troubleshoot PLC and operator interface panels.
Perform and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks;
Provide line support for changeovers by understanding total process layouts and be able to maximize efficiency through optimal interface.
Safeguards and maintains company equipment and property, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
Experience in maintenance, repair and adjustment of liquid filling machine
Capers, palletizing, and auxiliary equipment
Previous maintenance experience in food or beverage production
Technical knowledge of Production related equipment with maintenance experience with Production equipment
Technical skills must include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and PLC
Possess an ability to fabricate parts
Experience in using machinery measuring tools
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical)
Mechanical Engineering Education a plus
Excellent attendance and safety record
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/ Chinese a plus
Able to meet physical demands in work environment as generally described below
Education and/or Experience
Mechanic Engineer and minimum five years related experience .
Food Safety & Quality Requirements/Responsibilities:
Adheres to all Food Safety/Quality SOP’s
Accurately completes required Food Safety & Quality Records
Communicates any known or suspected Food Safety/ Quality issues to the Q.A. Manager and Department Manager
Responsible for reporting any food safety concerns or tampering with product

Salary: $20-$23.00 /hour plus benefits
