Job Description:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our clients by expertly diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining their HVAC systems. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of HVAC technology, sharp problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, Repair, and Maintain: Accurately diagnose issues and perform repairs on a variety of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment. Ensure all systems are running at optimal efficiency.
- Routine Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct thorough maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining the nature of repairs and offering professional recommendations to clients. Build trust through transparency and reliability.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and any client interactions. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years as an HVAC service technician, with a proven track record of successful repairs and maintenance.
- Certification: EPA Certification is mandatory. A valid Driver’s License is required for travel to various job sites.
- Technical Expertise: Strong, comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and their components, with the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues efficiently.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities, capable of thinking on your feet and finding effective solutions to challenging problems.
