Position:Product Manager

Job Summary

As part of the team, you'll be joining a team of innovators and multi-skilled individuals, with broad experience in a wide range of specialisms and even industries, collectively capable of prototyping and delivering Studios-centric software, hardware, events, summits, new kinds of content and experiences, and even new lines of cinematic-related business.
We are looking for a Manager, Product Innovation to join our team: someone who wants to shape the next generation of creative and production technologies and directly help drive innovation across our cinematic pipelines and experiences. This person would be reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Innovation & Operations / Senior Manager, Content Tools & Hardware Innovation.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing cinematic Production and pipeline innovations, managing a portfolio of innovation initiatives, and delivering projects successfully on time and to budget.

You will be working specifically on developing software and hardware prototypes and pilots, working with many stakeholders, partners and vendors to execute an idea - generated from needs and R&D - and take it all the way through to beta, handshaking with our internal Product teams in order to eventually deliver a needed, and successful, product.

You will also be part of a team that acts as a centralized resource for multiple Studios, and that organizes and delivers cross-Studio events and collaboration opportunities: the ability to manage a huge number of stakeholders with timeliness and a positive attitude is a must, and the variety in the resulting work is broad and interesting.

Role:
A self-starter, you will find and evaluate industry research in content, production and marketing technologies with the potential to impact and/or disrupt the future of cinematic media and entertainment; you will map new technologies and opportunities to the needs of our multiple Studios stakeholders.

An excellent and proactive organizer, you will manage the development and production of multiple projects of broad scope, from software development of new, tailored, creative software, to executions of novel cinematic experiences with live customers.
We have great variety in our projects, and you must be comfortable with novelty, rapid idea prototyping, growth, and change.

A diplomatic negotiator, you will develop excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, and external Partners, delivering successful projects that meet both parties' needs.
StudioLAB manages multiple external Partnerships, and has 8 internal Studios to deliver to. It's a huge cross-pollination process.

A skilled pitcher and evangelist, you will be able to occasionally prepare or help prepare and present a pitch deck, as well as regular project and program updates to stakeholders using your solid expertise with communication materials.
We like to use Keynote or Google Slides, and we have very high expectations of design and communication clarity.

A proactive communicator, you will be excellent at keeping everyone - peers, team, leaders and colleagues in other departments and units - regularly appraised of strategy and progress.
