This position involves tracking projects across multiple studios and third parties to foster innovation for all of our Film and Episodic Productions. Passion for new technologies and paradigms is critical for anyone interested in the position.
Organize and facilitate project initiatives across internal business units and third-party strategic partners
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects including scope, schedule, resourcing across the Motion Picture Innovation program
Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders
Prioritize and escalate critical tasks, execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates
Create workflow diagrams of production technology processes and identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve efficiency
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodology
5+ years of experience managing and developing teams to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong experience in managing technical R&D or Innovation teams
Very strong written and oral communications skills
Understanding of software programming/development
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively
Good meeting facilitation skills and effective team player
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira)
Strong ability to develop and present business cases via PowerPoint or Keynote
Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps utilizing Visio or LucidCharts
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a Content Production environment
PMP certification
Previous experience working in a Content Production environment
PMP certification
Certified Scrummaster a plus
Experience working with Software Vendors within the M&E Space
