A diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment are vital to our success, leading to greater innovation and better energy solutions.What is the role?The Business Services role is responsible for ensuring entire site meets the Shell record retention policies and payroll policies, and supports site in meeting regulatory required tracking of learning and other data. Your role is to support local site needs, as required, and as directed by the General Manager. You will perform daily tasks that support the entire site.Key accountabilities include;Payroll/Human resource coordination, document control and record retention, plant procurement support and other duties as directed by the General Manager.

Record retention and document control in line with Shell Policies.

Daily support to site on required coordination of meetings, supplies, services, and data gathering.

As required, support for Human Resource management, which may include payroll management, learning tracking, regulatory data collection and support on maintaining employee records and information.

As required, develop plant policies and administration documents to support site.

Complete all required records, reports, data inputs and analysis as directed by General Manager.

General office management, visitor coordination and support.

Personally committed to Goal Zero.

Be an active participant and leader in Continuous Improvement activities on site.

Work with other departments within site to meet site priorities and goals.

What we need from youThe successful candidate is expected to demonstrate / possess most of the following skills / attributes:Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum three (3) years relevant experience required. Prior Payroll experience preferred.

Able to work safely in an office setting using computer systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint.

Excellent Communications and Organization Skills.

Well organized and able to manage competing priorities.

A self-starter and capable of working unsupervised.

Able to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with plant personnel at all levels.
