RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a QC Assistant in Martinez, CA.

Summary:
The Quality Control Assistant is responsible for a variety of analytical skills including quality control/assurance initiatives, managing large databases of information, video and data review and tracking, and ensuring timely submittals are delivered to customers.

Responsibilities:
Management of Databases and Submittal Spreadsheets
Effectively track and manage project details
Responsible for assigned project deadlines
Review data for discrepancies
Work with and review video media files for quality assurance
Maintain accurate data record keeping
Review all contracts and supply critical information to appropriate resources
Act as customer and field liaison for branch
Manage complex projects from the beginning through completion stage
Develop and maintain GIS dataset
Create Thematic maps and digitize information for analysis
Data management and identifying areas that cause potential conflict
Ability to navigate in various computer and IT systems
Formulating quality control standards
Develop and improve reports and processes for delivering of data
Coordinate with IT experts, project engineers in planning, data collection, data variables and storage
Follow established Company policies, procedures and practices
Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of data management experience
1-2 years of GIS experience preferred
Previous experience in construction industry preferred
Strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
Excellent command of the language with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management, outside vendors and customers
Ability to read, interpret, and work with documents and files such as video media files, contracts, procedures manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions
Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to create and edit documents and spreadsheets
Ability to analyze situations, gather appropriate facts and determine appropriate action
Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and the general public and other personnel
Demonstrated proficiency in managing and prioritizing projects with multiple and often competing deadlines, and ability to work under pressure
Ability, interest and willingness to create tools and processes to improve efficiency
