Job Role :

Microsoft Endpoint Security Architect

Location : Marysville, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

Key skills required for the job are

Minimum work experience: 10 - 15 YEARS

· Engaging with different IT teams to discover and understand the current design and operate model for the in-place endpoint protection technologies and services in the areas of Anti-virus, Firewall, Disk Encryption and DLP running with McAfee product suite

· Defining target state requirements for each of the Endpoint Protection service areas (AV, Firewall, Encryption & DLP)

· Understanding the current default setup and roll-out of Microsoft Defender for endpoints (MDATP)

· Identifying the other security and ITSM integrations required to the new setup
· Solution design for the above target state technology solutions and services
· Detailing the migration approaches
· Detailing the testing cases for the piloting with the success criteria

· Creating detailed migration plan with clear RACI

· Defining detailed EDR configuration needs and use-cases setup leveraging MDATP
· Guiding technically the core project team and the dependency teams outside the project through the design, planning, testing and roll-out phases
· Technical communication and change management requirements identification
· Creating the artefacts such as design documents, migration approaches, planning inputs, dependencies and RACI’s
· Getting the technical artefacts vetted by the Customer advisory and stakeholder teams

Technical Qualification/ Experiences:
· Total IT experience: Over 15+ years
· Relevant experience: Minimum 7+ years

o Technologies: Microsoft (Defender ATP, Defender, DLP, Bit locker) and McAfee (EPO, AV, Firewall, DLP, Encryption)
o Endpoint Security managed services and migration experience
o SCCM
· Excellent documentation, presentation, questioning, communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Qualifications and Experience:
· Microsoft certifications: AZ-900, AZ-500, MS-900, MS-500

· Any other Endpoint Security product vendor certifications

· Familiarity with secure by design principles

· Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security
