Long Valley Health Center is looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to join our team! The ED is to have a deep commitment to delivering quality care, an innovative spirit, a collaborative orientation, superior management skills, and the financial expertise to ensure a self-sustaining entity. They will be responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership and will closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and leadership team. Qualified candidates must have proven leadership experience in healthcare and have demonstrated accomplishments within their past or previous roles.

Responsibilities:

Strengthening Infrastructure and Operations:

· Ensure the delivery of high quality patient care services.

· Oversee the financial management of the organization including short and long range financial planning to assure sustainability; ensure the financial controls and present an annual budget to the Board of Directors; provide regular budget statements and forecast analyses.

· Support and motivate the staff; facilitate cross-department collaboration and strengthen internal communication with staff throughout the organization.

· Create and promote a diverse workforce and a positive environment

Strategic Vision and Leadership:

· Oversee the administration and management of LVHC to meet and preserve the mission of the organization, while continuing to improve the quality of care throughout the community we serve.

· Cultivate a strong and transparent relationship with LVHC’s Board of Directors and its Committees to meet the obligations and effective governance of the organization

· Maintain an effective relationship with HRSA and with other appropriate associations engaged in the provision of primary health care services.

· Provide organizational leadership and guide managers responsible for departmental activities toward attainment of strategic goals and objectives.

· Establish and direct the organization’s annual strategic agenda; coordinate the development of new initiatives.

· Promote, stimulate, and encourage community support thru education and discussion in meeting the community’s health care needs.

· Make decisions regarding promotion, transfer, and discharge of staff; provide opportunities for training and development to enable the staff to meet high standards of performance.

· Organize staff and resources for health care program plans and determine, based on available resources, which activities could be best accomplished by the staff or by outside agencies.

· Supervise the negotiation of contracts with health care agencies and community organizations; present summary of contracts to the Board of Directors for approval, or when within delegated authority; execute the contracts on behalf of LVHC.

Program Development:

· Assure well- planned and timely delivery of programs through new and existing staff and external partnerships.

· Assist in the development and implementation of standardized policies, procedures, and plans to provide consistent guidance to staff.

· Direct and review the development of health care program plans and budgetary benchmarks.

· Attend or direct a designated representative to attend such conferences, seminars, workshops, or similar meetings that are deemed appropriate and consistent with the goals and objectives of LVNC.

· Perform such other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field or at least five years of health related leadership experience.

Demonstrate ability to direct clinic operations.

Demonstrated a significant knowledge of trends and issues, laws and regulations related to the delivery of ambulatory and behavioral health care services.

Demonstrated success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence, including civic leaders, charitable agencies, fundraising sources etc.

Demonstrated success with planning, analysis and implementation of decisions affecting new business growth and development.

Demonstrated success in the selecting, developing, motivating and directing high performing teams.

Able to work effectively with a diverse set of employees, multiple disciplines, in both clinic and administrative settings.
