This position is located in Petaluma, CA.How will you make an impact?Interfacing with all appropriate departments/staff in progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action and recommendationsBy Performing all performance reviews and disciplinary action regarding Maintenance personnel.What will you do? The Maintenance Supervisor we seek must be able to effectively manage all maintenance personnel by providing daily work schedules, direction, evaluations, etc. In addition, the candidate must manage the activities of our outside machine support services and coordinate machine repairs, as required.Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.Results driven leader who demonstrates a high level of intensity.Assess and recommend improvements to molding machines, auxiliary equipment and electrical systems, and HVAC, for long term sustainability Engages the Maintenance team to challenge the status quo in order to make continuous operational improvements. Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.How will you get here?Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ related discipline is preferred or High School Diploma/GED with related/equivalent experience.Experience3-5 years’ experience supervising in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding support.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesElectrical troubleshooting and knowledge of PLCsAbility to read prints, drawings, and schematicsHVAC knowledgeAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
